We create a 3D-Printer consisting of a screw extruder and an industrial robot to which a print head is attached. Various sensors send data to an artificial intelligence that adjusts printing parameters in order to print on difficult surfaces, large volumes, and with 6 axes.


The use of additive manufacturing technologies by the industry have been growing at a fast pace, with the value of this market growing from 3.1 Billion Dollars in 2013 to 6.4 Billion Dollars in 2016. It is expected that it will jump to 21 Billion by 2021. This is driven partially by the many advantages of this technology, like freedom of shape (geometries which cannot be achieved by other production methods), individualized production, fast prototype development cycles, resource efficiency, among others.

The project A2M is a bilateral collaborative R&D Project with German and Czech partners. It is funded by the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research Germany) and the TACR (Technology Agency of the Czech Republic).
